Welcome to Heilimo Photography!

My name is Marika and this site has been designed to share photos and memories with family and friends, both old and new. 

My father introduced me to photography as a little girl and I  remember evenings working alongside him as he developed his photographs in the dark room. While the expense of buying and developing film caused me to put aside the camera for a number of years, the explosion of digital photography gave me a new opportunity to pursue a hobby that I love more each day.

I currently shoot with a Canon 5D Mark III and various lenses.

Photos taken by others will be credited accordingly.
